Finnish Vocational Educational Research Association (FiVERA) was established in 1992.
Main tasks of the association are:
- to promote research of vocational education and training, and professional growth
- to strengthen the use of research and research evidence in the development of vocational education and training, education management, and in policymaking
- to disseminate research findings and to propose research needs
- to support discussion between researchers, teachers, management, other stakeholders and policymakers in the field of vocational education and training.
